ExxonMobil will lay off more than 700 workers in the Houston area, according to a warn notice sent to the Texas Workforce Commission.
The compay previously disclosed it will cut its global workforce by about 15%, or around 14,000 jobs.
The layoff date is Feb. 2, according to the notice.
According to the company's most recent 10k, it employed about 88,300 workers as of year-end 2019.
