Chaparral Energy has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its North Burbank and Texas Panhandle enhanced oil recovery (EOR) assets for $170 million cash plus certain contingent payments to Perdure Petroleum.
According to the most recent investor presentation, the asset produced 5,800 boe/d and proved reserves of 72.2 MMboe. This sale now transitions Chaparral to a pure play STACK operator, who most recently signed a 30 well drilling partnership with a PE firm.
